When engraving thousands of part numbers, you do not
need the flexibility of MillWrite. Rather, the ideal solution is for
you
to specify only the part number. The other engraving parameters (such
as
the font and the spacing between letters) can remain fixed. QuickWrite
solves this problem by allowing the CNC operator to create an engraving
program in only two steps:
1) Type the text to engrave.
2) Press the key or click the mouse button to create an engraving
program.
The size of the letters, the engraving depth, the feed rate, and other
parameters, are set only once and remain the same from one job to the
next
(until you change those parameters again).
QuickWrite reduces the chances of operator error to a
minimum.
QuickWrite will also automatically increment a serial
number every
time you run it. After installing QuickWrite, click the help button for
information on serial numbers.

Different CNC machines use slightly different CNC codes, so if
QuickWrite
doesn't work on your CNC, send an email message to Eric at m8059685351@gmail.com

• If you don't know
what do to with a
Setup file:
The setup
files are installation
programs. Click the link and pick the option to SAVE the
file
to your hard disk. Ignore warning messages that it is an unknown file.
After you download
the Setup file
to your hard disk, try to find it - (many people can't figure out where
their Internet browser saved it) - and then double-click on it. This
will
run the installation program.
After you install
it, QuickWrite should appear in your list of programs.
QuickWrite can run directly on some Mazak and other CNC controllers.
The rectangular
buttons along the bottom of the QuickWrite screen correspond to the
buttons on the Mazak.
However, in order to run it on a controller, you must know
the rules for your controller.
Some of them want QuickWrite to be installed in a particular folder,
for example.
